CoClub guide

    What is coliving?

Coliving is a way of traveling and living where you rent a private (or shared) room inside a house full of other remote workers, creatives and nomads, and you share the kitchen, the workspace, and the social life. I'm the founder of CoClub and I've personally lived in 8 different colivings across Europe over the past two years — this is the honest version.

    Coliving vs. hostel vs. Airbnb

A hostel is built for short stays and partying. An Airbnb is built for privacy and isolation. A coliving sits in the middle — long enough stays that people actually become friends (most colivings have a 1–4 week minimum), with curated community events, a real workspace, and usually a vetted crowd of remote workers and entrepreneurs. You get the practical setup of a home with the social density of a hostel.

    Who coliving is for

Entrepreneurs, creators, freelancers, founders, remote employees, sabbatical takers, and people in life transitions who want to do their best work alongside like-minded professionals. Every coliving has a slightly different character — some are focused on deep work, some blend movement and wellbeing, some are family-friendly, some are more social. Picking the right one matters more than picking the cheapest one.

    What's usually included

Private room (or shared), fast WiFi (this is non-negotiable), coworking space, fully equipped kitchen, weekly community events, sometimes coffee/tea/spices as basics. Food groceries are usually not included — you cook or eat out. Cleaning of common spaces is included; cleaning your own room varies.

    How much does coliving cost

Anywhere from €600/month in Eastern Europe or Southeast Asia to €2500+/month in the Alps or major Western European cities. CoClub members book across our whole network with credits, so the price-per-night drops significantly compared to booking each one direct.

    Frequently asked questions

Is coliving the same as a coworking space?

No — coworking is workspace only. Coliving is workspace plus the house you sleep in, plus the people you cook dinner with.

    How long do people stay?

Most colivings have a 1–4 week minimum. Many guests stay 1–3 months. Some stay 6+ months and become unofficial residents.

    Will I have privacy?

Yes — every coliving on CoClub offers private rooms (and some offer shared dorm-style for cheaper). Common areas are shared, your bedroom is yours.
