CoClub guide
How to book a coliving
Booking a coliving isn't quite like booking a hotel — there's a minimum stay, sometimes an application, and the 'fit' between you and the house matters. Here's the process I'd recommend after helping hundreds of people pick their first coliving.
1. Pick the right space, not the cheapest
Look at the typical guest profile, the vibe, the location, and the activities. A surf coliving in Portugal and a deep-work coliving in the Swiss Alps will give you completely different months. On CoClub every space has a 'Typical guest', 'Unique features' and 'Activities' section to help you self-select.
2. Check minimum stay and availability
Most colivings have a 7-night minimum, some require 14 or 28. Pick dates that fit. Seasonal colivings (e.g. ski-season or summer-only) have a defined open window — check the 'Season' badge on the listing.
3. Look at the room and the house
Private double, private single, shared dorm — prices and vibes differ. Check the room photos, capacity, bed type, and bathroom (en-suite vs shared). Then scroll the photo tour of the common spaces — that's where you'll actually spend most of your time.
4. Book with CoClub credits
Instead of paying each coliving separately, CoClub members buy credits once and spend them across the whole network. One membership, all colivings. Pick your room, pick your dates, confirm — you'll get a confirmation and the host will reach out before check-in.
5. What to ask if you're unsure
WiFi speed (most listings show it), kitchen access, work setup, pet policy, age range of current guests, and how social the house is right now. You can DM the CoClub team and we'll tell you honestly — we've been there.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to apply?
Some colivings yes, most no. On CoClub you can book most rooms instantly. A few curated spaces ask for a short intro to keep the community quality high.
Can I extend my stay?
Usually yes, subject to availability. Most guests who arrive end up extending at least once.
What if I don't like it?
Each coliving has its own cancellation policy, shown on the listing. CoClub's flexible credit model means you can move to another space in the network if a place isn't the right fit.
